Sarah Elgart

Choreographer/Director Sarah Elgart is active in democratizing dance, challenging the notion of what is and is not a stage, and placing dance in

the foreground of community and commerce. In film, Elgart has created choreography for music videos & film, working with iconic directors including JJ Abrams, David Lynch, Anton Corbijn, Catherine Hardwicke and others. An alum of the Sundance Institute Dance Film Lab and AFI’s Directing Women’s Workshop, Elgart is the Founder and Artistic Director of Dare to Dance in Public Film Festival.
